in Vallejo on February 23, 2008
More than 800 people including the officials of Solano County, city mayors,
sponsors, members, and scholarship winners.
The evening stared with the traditional dragon and lion dance. The dragon
and lions went around the tables in the entire hall to
give blessings to all the guests. Mr. C. C. Yin gave a little red
envelopes with lucky money to the Mayors and other Solano Officials.
Mr. Bruce Newton, Manager of Bank of the West was also on stage to help
giving Children under the age of 14 a lucky money
package. Guests
enjoyed an evening with Chinese buffet dinner, shows, and raffle.
Lucky winners take home 12 bicycles,
TV set,
Wii game set, iPod and other prizes. Security was provided by the retired
law officers and off duty CHP officers.
