Day 1 (10/25 Thu) United States - Shanghai
Aboard your transpacific flight to Shanghai.

Day 2
(10/26 Fri) Shanghai (SD)

Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel for a 2-night stay. After a welcome dinner, enjoy a night tour to the Bund.

Day 3 (10/27 Sat) Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Visit the Yu Garden, famous for its rock gardens, pavilions, halls and ponds, the Old Shanghai Bazaar. After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and the Xintiandi Area (Former French Concession).

Day 4 (10/28 Sun) Shanghai – Beijing (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, China's capital, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace.


Day 5 (10/29 Mon) Beijing (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square and the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, home of Chinese Emperors for more than 500 years, and the Jingshan Park. After lunch, visit the Hutongs with a pedicab ride through the old-city neighborhoods of narrow lanes and courtyard gardens in Central Beijing.

Day 6 10/30 Tue) Beijing (AB, L, SD)
The highlight today is an excursion to the Great Wall. Enjoy the dramatic vistas and marvel at the Wall as it climbs and descends steep ridges and narrow valleys. On the way to Great Wall, have a photo stop beside the Olympic venue “Birds
Nest” and “Water Cube”.  After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven. Peking Duck Dinner.

Day 7 (10/31 Wed) Beijing – Xi’an (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, visit the Beijing Zoo to see the Giant Pandas. After lunch, transfer to the airport for flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival in Xi’an, you will be greeted and escorted to the hotel for a 2-night stay.

Day 8 (11/01 Thu) Xi’an (AB, L, SD)
Today's highlight is a visit to the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, home to more than 6,000 life-size army excavated from the tomb of the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty. After lunch, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Grand Mosque, and the Muslim Quarter. In the evening, enjoy a Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Dinner Show.

Day 9 (11/02 Fri) Xi'an - Guilin (AB, D)
Morning at leisure. Transfer to the airport for flight to Guilin. Upon arrival in Guilin, you will be greeted and escorted to the hotel for a 1-night stay.

Day 10 (11/03 Sat) Guilin - Yangshuo (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, enjoy a cruise along the scenic Li River. Experience the magical beauty of limestone rock formations and farmland commonly seen in Chinese landscape paintings. Disembark at the charming village of Yangshuo, which has one of the best antique and handicraft markets in China. Check in your hotel for a 1-night stay. After dinner, enjoy the "Impression of Liu Sanjie" Performance, set in the world's largest natural theater, featuring a cast of 600 and a backdrop of 12 peaks and the Li River (weather permitting).

Day 11 (11/04 Sun) Yangshuo - Guilin Hong Kong (AB, L)
After breakfast, visit the Big Banyan Tree and the Moon Hill before transferring back to Guilin. After lunch, visit the Reed Flute Cave. Transfer to the airport for flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival in Hong Kong, you will be greeted and escorted to the hotel for a 2-night stay.

Day 12 (11/05 Mon) Hong Kong (AB, L, SD)
After breakfast, enjoy a full day Hong Kong Island Tour by visiting the Victoria Peak (includes one way by peak tram), drive pass by the Repulse Bay to the Stanley Market. After lunch, visit the Aberdeen Fishing Village. Evening enjoy the dinner buffet at the Bauhinia Harbor Cruise.

Day 13 (11/06 Tue) Hong Kong (AB)
Day free at leisure till departure transfer to airport for flight back to San Francisco.

In 2008, seven high school students from Ji'an City visited Solano County after
County Administrator Mr. Michael Johnson and Supervisor Mike Reagan
 visited Ji'An City in October, 2007.
